Verified target

The tracked stable Java path is CurseForge project 1591438, file verity-5.7.4.jar, Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge, Client & Server. Do not use these steps for Revamped, Fabric, Bedrock, or the deprecated JE NeoForge branch.

02

Create the profile

Open the Verity JE project and choose Install. Allow the CurseForge App to open, choose Create a new profile, and keep its automatically selected Minecraft version and loader unless the project page has changed. Name the profile so it cannot be confused with 1.21.1.

03

Confirm relations

Before launch, open the exact file's Relations tab and confirm required dependencies are present in the same profile. Do not copy a dependency list from an old video because relations can change by release.

04

First launch

Start the new profile, open the Mods list, and confirm Verity JE appears. Create a disposable world and verify the documented box/helper behavior. If the game fails before the menu, collect latest.log and diagnose the loader before touching an API key.

05

Configure the AI path

Follow the maintainer tutorial for Groq or the separate Ollama tutorial for local inference. Enter credentials only inside the documented local mod flow. Never paste a key into MMB Guide, a screenshot, or a public support log.

06

Record the working baseline

Save the project ID, Verity release, Minecraft version, Forge build, provider, model, and Java runtime. This baseline makes later conflicts diagnosable when shaders, performance mods, or a server are added.

FAQ

Questions

Can Verity JE 5.7.4 run on NeoForge?

Version 5.7.4 is for Forge 1.20.1. Keep that JAR out of a NeoForge instance.

Should I install manually or through CurseForge?

The CurseForge App route reduces version and loader selection mistakes. Manual installation is for users who can independently verify the exact file and relations.
